Well, though no codes, the warning message constantly came up: 'check coolant level'.

And the coolant level is perfect.

So I deduced it must the the sensor in the bottle.

Not easy to find exact part, but found one in Spain (used) and fitted it today.
Fingers crossed.

Bought this:

Instructions:

Coolant Level Sensor Replacement | Low Coolant Level Switch

Two weeks later - no faults.

I replaced like 3 of those already and finally decided to unplug it and check level manually 🤦‍♂️

You can only use a Bosch sensor aftermarket ones are useless The one I bought off ebay lasted about 4 days & it was listed as a genuine replacement(piece of crap)

Worrying, I've had top up around 750ml twice in a month with no such prior warning. Any thoughts?

Yep, leaking thermostat is what it is. Annoyed they did not identify it when they replaced the water pump with previous coolant issue. Anyways, really useful inputs 👍
