I have bought a 2020 plate GT LINE 3008 diesel. I am confused amazed at the difference of opinion as to the exact oil to use . Even main dealers contradict each other as do car magazines please help

This is an RCZ forum but I'm sure someone will know.
I recall one of my previous cars had numerous oil grades recommended. One by Subaru, one by Toyota and the other by owners.

Look in the Handbook ??
It’s because i looked in on on line manual that the contradictory started. And to make you aware Pedro the car did not have a hand book it’s all on line. No mention of specific oil

Sir: Seven posts in three threads in six months all on the same subject and none of it anything remotely related to the RCZ.

May I suggest that you go here?

I use Quartz Ineo 5w 40 in mine 200 sport as its listed twice in the H/book but you could write a handbook all about oil from the post's on here regarding how many owners have asked the same questions as to which why or what kind or even how much oil goes into these engines what I will say is don't follow the scheduled service intervals for the car as it will lower the life of the engines components a lot quicker
