The "Girl" not being sexist may find this too much   anyhow i have" rear red 92 smds" "Diamond vision" bulbs and cracking 5 watt DRLS, if anybody wants them they just have to give me the P&P dosh and if anyone wants my Alcantara steering wheel  then pay £70 quid for PUG to swap them over from car to car My alcantara wheel is as new

Jaza

Jass that is SO decent of you!!!!   I just wish I lived closer! I'd have sold my own mother to get my hands on that wheel. Unfortunately I'm away the next 4 days and can't see a way to come down ahead of you having to hand that wheel back. Id have given you something for it as that's TOO generous but gutted doesn't cover it! :( Might have taken the brake LEDs off you too as one of mine died within a fortnight and haven't heard anything from young Steven about a replacement yet. :(

Matt my car does not go back till the end of this month even the beginning of may,Its yours mate if you pay the dealer to swap them over ESTIMATED COST £75,i would rather a friend like yourself gets the benefit rather than someone unknown who buys the car after me  Dan has the rear smds,I still have the hi powered led front fogs and front 5 watt drls All perfect working order

Jass you are a true gentleman!!!! I'll have to have a serious look at what I have on between now and then and see there is anyway that I can fit this in with you. If I can manage it then I will let you know and see if we can work something out. However, I know that I have a stagger that I can't get out of and a couple of other commitments but I don't know if I can shift or dodge any of them. I'll let you know as soon as!!! Again, either way, it's an outstanding and generous offer once again showing what a gentleman you are!!

Oh come on peeps.
£25 to change a bulb, that takes about 10 mins if you take your time and "fiddle" about a bit.

Tell you what, change the bulb yourself and give the 25 quid to cancer research. 👏
That way you will certainly feel better about yourselves and it will make it all worthwhile you getting a little frustrated and gaining the odd scratch on your little twinkies whilst "feeling your way around". 👍

Just close your eyes, undo the clasp, insert your fingers , feel around for something that you want to tug on, the rest is will come naturally, nothing like a fumble in the dark

£25 to change a bulb. Now that would be an issue for me.
Its a simple task. Remoove plastic cover. Unclip bulb, pull off wire connector, put connector onto new bulb, try not to touch glass of new bulb, replace bulb opposite to removal.
Now the hard bit.
Do you keep the £25 for a rainy day or go down your local and spend it celebrating on becoming a qualified auto electrician.
I know what I would be doing.
You would have been cheaper just painting the whole headlamps blue.................7500k is useless in the winter even 5000k is crap and if you have a 6000k hid units fitted then your just asking for trouble from......... :law-policered: :law-policered:
Just had both dip headlight H7 55w bulbs replaced at Halfords. Having read a couple of bulb fitting horror stories here I intended to buy bulbs for fitting by local garage but still nervous that they might find it tricky. Anyway the staff outside who were working on two cars were so impressive and professional that I booked for job in half an hour. I had the bulbs fitted by a very capable technician who actually fitted them with thin rubber gloves on. He said that he had done so many that it was easy for him and reccomended the LUCAS bulbs.
