Changing multifunction Display (colour)

Hello,

I have the standard RCZ without Navi. So I only have the Standard Multifunction Display in the middle of the dashboard. Unfortunatelly, the colour is only boring oldstyle orange.
Is there an easy trick for changing the colour of the display maybe with an EL-Film or can the hole display be replaced by a newer one.
I know, there are plenty of Peugeots out there with colour Displays.
I think this makes the RCZ really looking old.

Many thanks for your answers.

MiraScripts ? Just a thought, but probably the actual hardware (bulbs, lenses etc) will be the restricting feature :eusa-think:

I actually quite like the dash :eusa-whistle:
he does have a point.. for those who don't have sat nav the dash can look a little dated in the orange.. the nav screen lifts that part of the dash somewhat.

Fair comment, I suppose I might agree if I didn't have the nav screen display. :eusa-think:

You can fit the colour mfd, like I've done in my 308.

You can select different colours.
What do you mean tackle it? I've already done it in mine.

It's quite easy actually, you just need to remove the plastic surround (taking care not to scratch the dash). I did it by inserting an old credit card between the dash and the plastic trim so I could get my fingers in there and then pulled. Once it's out, you disconnect the connector and undo the screws that hold the display on the surround.

The most difficult thing about this is that the display needs to be configured for the options you have in your car. I did this using my Diagbox tool.

Looks interesting :) Do you have the part number for that display? And where did you buy it from?

I'd like to replace the info display between the rpm and mph dash also. The ones currently in the 508 series looks great in white color.

@ drdino

Your colour Display looks really great. I want to have this Display in my RCZ.
Please tell me where you got that display from. What is the price?

Many many thanks.

Regards
Daniel

Wow,

price is not really cheap. Very much money for a simple display.

Which one do I need exactly for the Peugeot RCZ.
My RCZ doesn't show climatic information in the display.

Does your 308 also have the 12 pin connector?

Yeah, it's not cheap unfortunately. Correct, 12 pin connector on mine as well, the 308 has the same electrical architecture with the RCZ.

It's a matter of configuration, the climate control info can be disabled.
