So I installing my new 105W extra light on my Peugeot RCZ THP 156 2011, I did all in correct order with install guide and then got excited and kept turning my high beams on and off because I was so amazed with that extra light, but engine was off, so it ran trough battery, and now, after I was gonna turn engine on, surprise, it’s just clicks, okay, battery was below 12V, then with other car I try to jump start and nothing, god damn nothing, won’t start even when over 14V recharging is going into my own car battery from other car, now it doesn’t even do that obvious click sound, very faint click sound, so what the f*ck, then i decide after many wtf thinking my fuses, and I find F8 fuze aka start motor control fuze blown, okay, I change it to new correct fuze, check battery and it’s around 12,85V, then I go try to start, and same f*cking sh*t, that louder 1 click sound appears but won’t do nothing, won’t start, then I try jump start again, and then once again nothing, then I check that fuze again and hoooly sh*t, that new fuze is blown again, now need another one, so it blew up whenever I tried to start engine while jump starting, so wtf is this sh*t, what’s the problem? I don’t even have yet connected those new extra lights into my car, it’s literally same as before I tried those extra lights, otherwise other car electrics seems to be fine, but only that it simply won’t start anymore?!?

This light I’m trying to install. It should have been so simple…

I actually had previously same kind of situation that it just won’t f*g start, needed to drag car to peugeot dealership to fix it, but now I remember they didn’t mention anything what caused it or how the fixed it, so could it have been so easy fix that they didn’t want to figure it outmyself in the future so they can gather easy money from me? So could this be as easy to fix like they propably had it easy?
Or should I try perhaps BSI reset after I have changed 2nd time that F8 fuze and then try to start engine?

Have you solved it? I had something similar. The battery control module seems to be a possible cause.

Last Wednesday drove to work and left and the car unlocked and click . Was the starter motor and would not jump start off another vehicle or a battery pack . Called aa and they confirmed starter . Mate fitted and clutch release snapped so he has done that and got it back Xmas eve so just need to pay him now .
but yes check the starter and it’s at the front on a hdi to knock with a rod to try and free . Oddly car started after to take it from my house to my friends
