bulb not doing anything?

Hi,

Have noticed that there's a 21w/5w combined bulb in my headlamp that doesn't seem to do anything?

Is this because my car has the LED DRL's fitted? The handbook mentions something like this but as the headlamps are different (I think) to pre-facelift cars what's the point in the bulbs as every facelift car had the LED DRL's (i think)?

Answers on a postcard please !!

Thanks,

Ian B

It's a redundant bulb. Probably because the light clusters are the same ones used in a different Pug without DRL's...

As Richard said, it’s the side light bulb, but as the phase II RCZ’s have LED DRL’s which dim for sight light usage, the actual side light bulb is not connected.
