There is only so many times you can get them diamond cut Iv believe I suppose after they get to this stage u could paint them silver an black in the same way they are now let us know what BA wheels say
This is another reason I don't quite trust the salesman who told me (after I'd pointed to his scabby wheels, though without actually using the word scabby): 'there's no limit to how often you can have them done...'
I mean, I'm no technician, but even I can see that logically, if you keep shaving bits off, there'd be nothing left eventually! 😂

Breckland Vehicle Specialists near Thetford recently had a couple of White RCZs with (I think refurbished?) Black wheels. And I've seen references elsewhere to 'Powder coating' wheels - not sure if that's the same thing as what I'd call paintin'?

Anyone tried wheel rim trims? Do they help? I've seen a couple of RCZs online with red ones, which might be a bit ostentatious for me personally, but might black ones blend in better and protect the actual wheel? A set seems to be about £20-£30....

Rim-Blades are a great addition that look great and also protect the alloys. It always had to be red for me though! Black just make the tyres look bigger. Maybe silver would be a compromise?

Diamond cut wheels don't last. Once refurbished they never last that long. You do only get a limited amount of refurbishments before having to powder coat them.

The finish on mine are breaking up again. I'm looking for alternatives at the moment. I think the silver on black of the R wheels looks much better than one solid colour.

I don't like rim protectors. There is examples of them coming loose and whipping around and damaging the car. I'd also be concerned that the still chafe against the rim and dull the lacquer on a diamond cut finish.

I think people who have had them come off have either failed to apply them correctly or are using cheap knock-off versions. Had my proper Rim-Blades on for years with zero issues. 👍
