Ps Rizz i dont like the amg sls especially when the 458 and aventador or gallardo are far better looking cars but i would have the mclaren mercedes SLR anyday i acutally sat in one my brother knew the owner as of the said car AS SOLD Snapon tools to the owners garage what a beastie of a car that was a platinum silvered batmobile
Hiya jassy,

Really pleased to hear that you are now in full employment. They say that quality always sells, so say no more

I have driven the SLR Mclaren, although its a gorgeous looking car, its basically an engine with a car built around it, also the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Its probably the car to drive but not to own.

As for Ferrari Rizz, again, I have driven every model past and present, they are fantastic to drive, but ownership is a different cuttle of fish. Best suited to the person that has bottomless pockets. You would not believe some of the service bills.

If my boss is reading this then , I am being held hostage and they made me say this

Jammy sod ya Snowy  i agree the slr amazing engine built around a poor mercedes but the concept was there  As for Thomas The Rizz Magnum  we all can dream am a lambo man i will no doubt buy a few tickets at the airport for the best of the best car compo which i always do last years holiday they had spec edition lp560 gallardo spyder on show what exquisite work of art it was  but she even she {Avril} moans about me buyin tickets to win a car

Jassy all I can do is shake my head...swapping the RCZ for a Merc mmmm hope you arn't going to be disappointed. I currently have a Merc C250cgi (yes I know it's not the convertible but it does have the brother engine to your new 200) and the RCZ is heaps better. Whilts I can understand your desire for more power the 200 is going to be heavier than the RCZ and the Merc tip tonic gearbox is rubbish I hardly drive the Merc these days (Arsey is such a far more engaging drive) as the Merc is such a boring drive.
That being said congrats on the new job and wish you all the best hopefully you will still pop in and say g'day your commentary and advice will be missed.

Jass,
Only just seen this posting.
Gotta say the Merc is a stunner to look at.
Go for it son, Merc and Peugeot must be in two different leagues.
As for the thinning on top, well Tesco is the right place to get work, as they would say "every little bit helps"

Hi everyone, this is my first post.

My rcz is being delivered this week. On the subject of the merc lease, I went down this road myself and it does not work out in the end! I was quoted £286 a month inc vat on several occasions only for the car in question to dissappear just before I paid the deposit. But don't worry they say.... We've got another car with a few more options for just £400 and something a month.

I don't want to be a buzz kill but don't believe it until the papers are signed!

Good luck though!

I'm sorry but a V8 AMG version is not going to be of a similar price to an RCZ

a base model perhaps but no AMG badge

unless you have a link to show otherwise?

I'm paying £ 450 too, if I can get an AMG then I'm right with you.

I'll hunt around again but I cannot see any "AMG" mercs for that price. ????

Jassy which leasing company do you use? I ask as my sister is looking to change her BMW 1 convertible for the Merc SLK and mentioned she is looking to lease it.

I've always found Arval beat the dealer prices with ease

Hey Jass!

I'm just very chuffed about the job, cars are easy to come by. Hope it all works out in fine style for you.

I think you should go and ruffle a few feathers on the merc forum....wake em up a little with your subtle elegance and style.

Don't forget your mates here 'tho.
