It seems like Christmas. Last night I finally got the car back. Come to think of it, it was anly a few weeks after Christmas when it went in for the engine job. One thing led to another and several £k later as least I am back on the road in my own car.

I was told it should be ready at the end of the week but that was tempting fate. They have run it up and found an oil leak so I get to stay in the courtesy car for another weekend. I won't have to pay for all the additional work that is being done, but it is getting a bit tedious!

Update - should be ready at the end of the week. The people in France regarded it as a warranty claim even though the car has never left the service department!

Yes, the launch edition your are referring to was the standard RCZ whereas mine is the RCZ R.

Depends what constitutes the Launch edition. Mine was the second one in the UK with the first going to a car magazine. There were some changes to later ones, mainly to correct brake squealing issues etc Mine also has the RCZ flashes on the door sills which I haven't seen on others.

Good idea but that is for storage really, I use the car every day and it would be too much hassle.

I would have a good shot at the record for total miles in RCZs, but only if you add the 120,000 I did in my first one to the 152,000 (so far) since I traded it in for my RCZ R. Total 272,000 and rising.
