There must be a sequence to reset the unit. My old CLK would go through a flap reset sequence if you pressed a couple of the buttons together at the same time.

Yup, my car is the same date and spec as yours, and I am getting exactly the same sound and symptoms. All drives fine though, and no clutch slippage, only the very high pedal that all the RCZ's have. I thought it could be the hill start assist electric brake not releasing quick enough.

Here is the thing.... I work for a parts supplier, and I asked my boss (car parts guru) about it. He said it is quite normal to have to buy a pair, and these lead times are also common place.
I asked how come only one arrived if they are sold as a pair - and he said that is quite common as well...
Well I had specifically said that I was happy to have non-OEM parts.... It would appear that many of the larger repair shops will only go down the route of going to Peugeot to order these items? Why could they not have offered the customer the options to weigh up cost/availability..

You can get an app on your smart phone, and a blue tooth OBD adapter, that you can set up to show your engine coolant temperature in a nice big digital display. Then you can wait until temp gets to about 60c then have your fun.
I just had mine a short time and just can't wait to go out in it whenever I get a chance. Try cleaning the contacts (bulb and holder) of the iffy light, my old CLK used to do the same thing.
