I agree Ian ... thanks.
Before I got my RCZ I was a bit concerned that it might be a "hairdressers Car" all show and no go. My previous Focus S had 180 BHP and I didn't want anything with less poke. I have not been disappointed. But I do agree that the RCZ is not just about 0-60 straight...
Thanks Dave. I was going to use DS in Birchwood. We must be quite local. At the moment I am finding the 200 quite quick enough in its sweet spot. I'm sure when I get used to the clutch I can get near the specified 0-60 time. That will do me for now :p
I have done about 500 miles in my lovely 200 thp and am having a great time. I need to be constantly aware of speed limits 😱
As advised , I am getting used the the funny clutch now.
In the regrettable absence of an owners manual I have spent hours studying the generic online...
Hhhhaaaa. Thanks I guess you are right. I bet if your other car was a manual you be right up sh1T street.
I will give it a couple of weeks before messing about. I find the clutch is quite heavy and hard to control. I have to take my heel off the floor to get it to balance. Its hard to guess just...
All my blurb about performance was related to the 1.6 I was thinking of buying. Having driven one I was a bit disappointed in the power output.
Problem solved ... I bought a 200bhp... Magic !!!
Thanks for the super knowledgeable advice. Is the overheating something I need to be...
My new RCZ is 5 years old. One lady owner who doesn't seem to have touched the arches in all that time. I was dreading having to restore the horrible water marks.
Before investing in fancy cleaning stuff, I had a rummage and came up with a bottle of Autoglym Bumper Care
Ah yes Ok, Pity.... daytime running lights are a poor substitute for fogs, in my humble opinion.
Yes I use auto lights as well. I wonder if the foggies turn on automatically too...its seems unlikely. I need to back up to a big window like Tesco's and play with mi stalks and stuff. OH Misses ...
Thanks a bundle guys. I will get used to stuff eventually, but you are the only source of info at the mo, so invaluable. Thanks for the sensor time delay info.
I had checked the pressures before posting and wondered why they hadn't gone off. The big screen told me both front tyres were punctured...
I have this sign appearing at the bottom of my rev counter. Can't remember seeing it before. What does it mean and how do I get rid of it ?
I've looked all through the warning lights in the online manual but cant see it.
The illuminated one on the rev counter is Yellow on Black. The...
I have managed to pair my iPhone 4s on bluetooth but when I try the AUX 1 the car screen just comes up with a flashing "WAIT" message. Tried waiting while driving for an hour or so but still asks me to WAIT.
That's the info I needed. The phone app thing is a good idea, Guess I will have to get a more up to date phone which will support this :-( but how remiss of Peugeot not to have a proper hands free system in the car. It's stupid (not to mention illegal) to have to scroll through...
Thanks Guys, hopefully will get used to it. But as you say..."Very Odd" and a bit annoying for a sports car. Bet is puts 2 or 3 seconds on my 0 to 60.
Any advice on the hands free phone and DAB radio ?????
Hi Les n Co,
The car is a one lady owner, 22,200 miles. I guess I paid top price for it but it is a cracker ! Yes the view out of my front window is much improved with mi RCZ on the drive. I sure have turned the heads of some boy racers in those ugly BMWs'. They always want to have a go !!!
