    imminent departure

Well, owning up; so this is what we have bought as a "follow up" but not a replacement as such, for LGN. It means the missus will drive it as my eyesight deteriorates, whereas the RCZ she would not drive...

    imminent departure

To add a little more flesh to the bone, so to speak: Today I bid farewell to a lovely motor that I have had for five and a half years. The Pug RCZ 2.0L HDi coupe has been sold. A very nice young man, a fighter pilot from Southern Spain, saw the add and got in touch, having owned a petrol RCZ a...

One serious punter might complete purchase next week, at an agreed price.

    Another black beauty...

    Here's a very black one for sale; mine! PEUGEOT RCZ (2014) - 15.900 € en Cáceres | Coches.net

No nibbles at the bait, so dropped the price a bit. Will still buy equivalent value in an auto Mini, so no big deal.

    Beautiful photographs of your RCZ

As part of my delegation to sell LGN, a "professional" photographer (acts as a submitter of car advert details, etc.) took the snaps and they can be seen here (link below to adverts). The area is where I live in Wild Western Spain...

The advert is in, for LGN; here it is, with loads of photo's. https://www.coches.net/peugeot-rcz-20-hdi-160cv-2p-diesel-2014-en-caceres-56427283-covo.aspx and here Milanuncios - PEUGEOT - RCZ 2.0 HDi 160cv

Thanks for your kind words. When/if I locate the advert and photo's, I will try and post either a link or copies of them. Our instructions to our chap are simply to get as good a price for the RCZ and purchase an auto Mini for similar amount, with the proviso being it should meet the Euro 6...

    imminent departure

LGN has had a revision (small service), oil change, filters, etc., and a pass with no advisories at ITV (MoT). The bossman (owner) at the Pug taller (workshop), a friend of ours, is getting photo's taken and will go up on a car sales web site. There are odd rules on advertising cars here, so...

La Gata Negra has gone in for a service and check-over ready for sale. Sadly only a very few kms have been added in the last three and a half years. Since the beginning of the COVID lockdown in March 2020, here in Spain, the only journeys of any distance have been using the Jag estate and then...

    Beautiful photographs of your RCZ

LGN still draws my attention to the sexy rear end, and that roof!

    Speed vs. Speedo

Our three "road" vehicles over-read (or is that under-read), according to the sat-nav (was Tom-Tom, now Garmin). The cruisers (508 and RCZ) can be at about 125 to match the sat-nav 120 (both kph). Useful, here, when encountering a sped camera on the Autovia.

Looking to buy a rcz diesel.

If the gas station has two pumps, I go for the dearer, which has the additives. Not had a problem (cross fingers) so far.
